About This Position
Under minimum supervision, installs, maintains, and repairs mechanical equipment and tools in the Plant. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, control, and automation systems on all industrial machinery and/or equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring schematics
- Experience working with PLC troubleshooting
- Test and repair motors, VFD’s, drives, sensors, relays, contactors and control circuits
- Disassembles mechanical equipment and tools, repairs or replaces worn or broken parts, and reassembles. Adjusts parts of mechanical devices as needed. Inspects completed repairs.
- Ability to find the root cause on any recurring electrical failures and implement corrective actions to prevent and limit down time.
- Performs preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and tools in accordance with established preventive maintenance program. Cleans, lubricates and/or replaces parts.
- Provides basic maintenance to plant structure and performs electrical and light plumbing work.
- Assists installation or rearrangement of machinery or equipment.
- Communicate regularly with the Facilities Engineer, Supervisors, and Lead Person to coordinate matters related to the maintenance of equipment.
- Perform work with voltages up to 480 volts
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Five years of relevant training in one or more maintenance positions
- Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic skills required with a proven record of work history
- Familiarity with safety programs in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with facility maintenance
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
1st Shift from (Monday - Friday) 7AM - 3:30PM
Must pass background and drug screen requirements
