About This Position

Job Summary:

The internship for college students offers a hands-on experience within a department related to their field of study.

Essential Functions:

As an intern working within one of our department teams, you will have exposure to the day-to-day tasks and ongoing initiatives which your courses have been preparing you for.

Your role will include collaborating with your supervisor and team to take on and complete track-based assignments and projects:

    • Participating and adding value during meetings and discussions
    • Develop satisfactory and productive relationships with personnel
    • Special projects
    • Other duties as assigned

The internship will be assigned to a department where the intern will undertake a project aligned to their field of study, which will include duties and experiences related to that focus. This project and/or goals will be determined by the intern and their supervisor in the assigned department. A copy of these goals will be sent to Human Resources for tracking purposes.

Each intern will be assimilated into their assigned department, and will receive the necessary department training to be successful in their role. The hiring manager or supervisor will conduct biweekly check-ins with the intern to discuss progress towards final project or goals. The intern will also receive biweekly training from the Talent Acquisition team on various topics related to their career development and professional skills.

Qualifications:

    • Education
      • Must be a junior or senior enrolled in a full time undergraduate (or graduate program) as a student earning a bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or other related major.
      • Must be able to maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Work Experience
      • Must be proficient and have practical knowledge in the Microsoft Office suite
      • Other software systems skills may be preferred depending on the department assigned, as related to your field of study
    • Licenses / Certifications
      • N/A
    • Skills and Abilities
      • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic and deadline-driven environment.
      • Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize/execute multiple concurrent tasks.
      • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills.
      • Skilled in writing and public speaking.
