Position Summary:

The Proposal Writer will play a critical role in crafting compelling, compliant, and persuasive proposal responses for government and commercial opportunities. This role requires a keen eye for detail, exceptional writing skills, and the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams to produce winning proposals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proposal Development: Develop, write, and edit high-quality proposal content, including executive summaries, past performance narratives, technical solutions, resumes, and management approaches.

- Compliance: Ensure proposals meet all requirements outlined in Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other solicitation documents.

- Collaboration: Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), project managers, and leadership to gather input and translate technical information into clear, concise, and compelling narratives.

- Project Management: Assist in managing proposal schedules, deadlines, and deliverables to ensure timely submission of proposals.

- Research: Conduct research on clients, competitors, and industry trends to tailor proposal content to the client's needs and mission.

- Editing and Proofreading: Review proposals for clarity, grammar, style, and consistency, ensuring a polished and professional final product.

- Process Improvement: Contribute to the development and refinement of proposal templates, tools, and processes for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

- Experience:

-Experience in proposal writing for government contracts, preferably within ServiceNow, IT, cybersecurity, or professional services.

- Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the proposal lifecycle.

- Skills:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

- Experience with proposal management tools such as SharePoint, Monday.com, or similar platforms is a plus.

- Ability to quickly understand and articulate technical and business concepts.
