Position Summary: We are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented patient coordinator to join our growing practice! The Patient Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for new and existing patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while managing scheduling, medical records, registration, and communication processes. This role is vital in promoting smooth patient flow, maintaining accurate records and facilitating coordination between patients and healthcare providers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Greet and assist patients in person and over the phone with professionalism and empathy
• Schedule procedures and office appointments
• Manage provider schedules
• Managing medical records and invoices.
• Update any changes in ECW (EMR)
• Answer phones/Triage
• Other tasks as requested by management

• Excellent communication, organizational
• Ability to deal with problems involving occasional, last-minute changes in generally standardized situations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred, but not necessary
• Pain Management experience preferred, but not necessary
• Education/Training/Experience:
• High school diploma or a GED
• Six months related experience and / or training
