PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray)

Location: St. Augustine, FL

Schedule: As needed, based on center needs

Precision Imaging Centers is seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray) to support our growing team at our St. Augustine center. We’re looking for someone with a positive, upbeat attitude, strong work ethic, and a heartfelt desire to make a difference in the lives and health of our patients.

• ARRT(R) certification
  
• Current Florida Radiologic Technologist license
  
• BLS certification
  
• High School Diploma or GED
  
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting preferred
  

• Take patient medical history prior to exams
  
• Correctly interpret doctors’ scanning instructions
  
• Explain procedures to reduce patient anxiety and gain cooperation
  
• Position patients and use immobilization devices to obtain optimum views
  
• Set technical parameters, operate X-ray equipment, and monitor image data
  
• Evaluate images for technical quality and determine if repeats are needed
  
• Assist radiologists with procedures such as arthrograms
  
• Support other modalities or departments as needed

• Routinely sanitize exam and waiting rooms
  

• Ability to sit, bend, and stand for extended periods
  
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds from ground to waist level
