Responsibilities:

· Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to determine the bending sequence.

· Adjust machine settings, including speed, angle, and pressure, to achieve accurate bends.

· Set up and prepare press brake machines for production runs, including selecting appropriate tooling and materials.

· Monitor the product process, making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.

· Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

· Maintain a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and regulations.

· Keep accurate records of production data and work performed.

· Adhere to quality control standards and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

· Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors to verify dimensions.

Qualifications:

· At least 2 years of experience setting up/running a brake press.

· Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

· Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment preferred.

· Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers and protractors.

· Ability to program and adjust CNC controls for accurate bending and forming.

· Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication techniques and processes.

· Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.

· Strong attention to detail and quality control.

· Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
