About This Position
Overview
Spirit Employment & Training Inc. is looking for Temporary Warehouse Workers to join our team in Edmonton. This 3-6 month term can potentially lead to full time permanent employment.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for a wide range of duties supporting efficient and safe manufacturing and distribution of corrosion protection products
- Primarily working in the coke plant, packaging coke materials
- Manufacturing, assembly, and packaging of various Corrosion Protection products
- General warehouse duties including maintaining the condition of the warehouse
- Picking, shipping & receiving duties as needed
- Proactively follow all Health and Safety requirements
- Perform general maintenance, repairs and inspections of specific tools and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation
- Load & unload trucks as needed
- Operate forklift as needed
Qualifications
- High school Diploma or equivalent education
- 1 years of experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- Experience operating hand and power tools such as drills, saws, and specialized equipment
- Able to wear a respirator as required
- Able to regularly lift over 50 lbs.
- Forklift Operator certificate and experience helpful
- Welding and soldering experience helpful
- Will need CSTS & WHMIS
- May need to pass Pre-Employment drug & alcohol testing
