Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Technician to assist our customers at Stephens Pharmacy in Bolivar, MO. CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 long-term care facilities, and 1 residential care facility. Offering acute care, emergency services, ambulatory care, pharmacies, walk-in clinics, surgeries, addiction recovery, rehab therapies and more, CMH has its community covered!

About the department: Stephens Pharmacy is a retail pharmacy that has proudly served the community for over 50 years. It operates in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment where the team works directly with patients every day to help them navigate medication therapies, insurance barriers, and access challenges by using advanced tools and technology like PioneerRx, MedSync coordination, ParataMax2 and ICON pill counter. The primary focus is ensuring patients understand their medications and feel supported in their healthcare journey while building a culture that prioritizes communication, collaboration, and fun—whether it’s through spontaneous team games, food celebrations, or just making each other laugh throughout the day.

A typical day includes:

• Exhibiting proper phone skills and customer service
• Entering insurance information, processing insurance claims, and assisting with billing transactions
• Assisting pharmacists with communication to patients and providers
• Consistently documenting work and ensuring appropriate recordkeeping

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience: Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
• Skills: Customer service, computer proficiency, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information relating to the needs of individual patients
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Missouri upon hire
• Physical: Prolonged periods of sitting and standing

The position is part-time between the hours of 8:00am-6:30pm,
