Senior Accounting Clerk at Hy-Test Safety Shoes Service – Milwaukee, Wisconsin

Hy-Test Safety Shoe Service, the leading distributor of safety footwear in the Midwest, is seeking an Accounting Clerk.

We are actively looking for a friendly, organized professional individual to join our Accounting Department.

Duties will include:

Processing invoices and managing vendor and customer accounts.

Reviewing, coding and verifying financial transactions and journal entries.

Assisting in preparing financial reports.

Training and supporting billing clerks.

Special projects as assigned.

Minimum of 5 years accounting experience.

Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets is essential. Knowledge of Peachtree and/or Counterpoint is a plus.

Must have a strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.

High level of accuracy and attention to detail is critical.

Ability to analyze financial data and resolve issues.

Excellent organizational skills to manage tasks and meet deadlines.

Ability to communicate financial information effectively.
