The Opportunity:

  • Conduct outreach activities in designated areas to connect with individuals in need
  • Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation support to clients
  • Provide crisis intervention, de-escalation, stabilization, emotional support, and overdose responses when required
  • Offer practical assistance to clients with food, shelter, and other basic necessities
  • Identify client-specific barriers and assists them in accessing services and resources, including providing referrals to community supports.

What You Will Bring to The Role:

  • A post-secondary diploma in Child and Youth Care, Social Work, or a related field
  • Experience working with at-risk and high-risk youth, harm reduction practices, and naloxone training
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $29.6656 to $38.4178 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
