The Opportunity:

• Perform assessments, implement goal plans and collect data and charting on progress
• Develop community programming based on demonstrated need and program objectives as outlined in funding contracts, community plans and individual goal plans. Provides services to clients supported by evidence, research and multidiscipline expertise on the wide range of health, social, and program specific issues related to health care services within First Nation communities and CSFS clinics.
• Comply with local, provincial and federal government laws, standards and regulations (Child and Family Services Act, Aboriginal Operational Procedures and Standards Indicators)
• Educates the staff of MCFD and other government agencies to: the socio-economic conditions, cultural values, traditions, expectations and aspirations of the parents, family and client community.

• Social Services Diploma with two years extensive experience; or
• A combination of education and experience may be considered

Wage Range: The target hiring range for this position is $31.89 to $41.30 per hour. Candidates will typically be hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the wage range. Placement within the wage range is dependent on the applicants’ role specific knowledge, skills, abilities, related experience and in consideration of factors such as market conditions and internal equity.
