Rental Technician at Kelly Generator & Equipment Inc – Owings, Maryland

Kelly Generator & Equipment, Inc. is looking for a Rental Technician to join our team! If you are dedicated maintenance technician with a strong work ethic and a desire to learn and grow, our Rental Technician position might be for you!

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist with Rental equipment maintenance (oil changes, valve adjustments, engine inspections and repairs as needed).
• Rental generator and associated equipment delivery and pickups.
• Generator Fueling.
• Assist with Rental generator and equipment check in/check out process.
• Site visits and field inspections of equipment.
• Customer service.
• Daily paperwork, data entry.
• Inventory adjustments.
• Daily communications with Rental Manager/Coordinator/customers.
• Participate with “On Call” rotation and availability to work overtime.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have a documented clean driving record.
• Must pass a DOT physical & drug test
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma (vocation/GED).
• CDL class A is a plus, but not required. Willing to certify
• Heavy Duty Equipment, diesel engine background a plus, but not required.

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle
• Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the entire body. This will include climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, carrying, and stooping.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 75 pounds and occasionally assist with lift up to 100 pounds.
