OVERVIEW

The Housekeeper (Room Attendant) upholds the cleanliness and orderly presentation of the Inn at the WAC’s guest rooms and public areas. This role also assists Members to ensure their needs are promptly and professionally addressed.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and service guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms by sanitizing surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring proper presentation.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens as needed.
• Respond promptly to guest requests and communicate effectively with the front desk or supervisors.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items to the appropriate department.
• Follow all Inn at the WAC policies regarding health, safety, and sanitation.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage rooms, and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Support team members and assist in cleaning public areas when required.
• Other duties as assigned.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of one (1) year experience in a hotel or similar facility preferred
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong communication skills and a customer service mindset

PAY INFORMATION

Pay: $24.50/hour
