ASHLIN Management Group is seeking a Case Manager to join our team.

Job Summary: Provide intensive case management services to at-risk or high-risk clients.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in social work or similar field; or a minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing workforce development-related case management services to populations similar to the District’s TANF Customers with a professional certification; 1 year of experience in job development, job placement, employment counseling, or job seeking skill training and motivation; and experience in marketing employees and working with the business community; excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously; and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assists with scheduling and conducting assessments. Assist in the development and monitoring of Individual Employment Plans. Provides wrap-around support as needed. Assists in the development of life skills and job readiness curriculum. Ensures that the curriculum is culturally appropriate. Identifies barriers to service planning. Makes referrals and follow-up consultations as needed. Updates customer status promptly and coordinates actions with other team members. Schedules appointments, reviews employment goals, and makes individual job matches in collaboration with a job developer. Presents employability workshops regarding life, job preparation, and job search skills. Utilizes group discussions and individual skill practice to build customer self-confidence. Counsels regarding customer barriers to employment and workshop attendance. Ensures clients are prepared for employment by guiding them through application completion, resume development, and interview preparation. Assists customers in resolving scheduling issues for their job-search activities. Ensure that at least 80% of participants are placed in unsubsidized full-time employment, earn at least the minimum wage, and remain on the job through the first paycheck. Performs other duties as may be assigned by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experienced in multi-tasking and meeting tight deadlines.Must be able to effectively communicate to superiors and subordinates in a professional manner that demonstrates a clear understanding of the project.Must be able to articulate and be able to express themselves in a clear concise manner.
