TMS Coordinator – Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation Program

Position Summary:
The TMS Coordinator will oversee the daily operations of our TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) program, working directly with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and patients to ensure safe, effective, and seamless treatment delivery. This role requires a blend of clinical and administrative duties, including patient scheduling, coordination of care, education, equipment operation, and documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patients receiving TMS therapy
- Coordinate initial evaluations, treatment scheduling, and follow-up visits
- Operate TMS equipment under physician supervision (training provided)
- Educate patients and families on the TMS process and what to expect
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and progress tracking in the EHR
- Collaborate with the psychiatric team to monitor patient outcomes and progress
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance
- Provide administrative support, including insurance verification and authorizations
- Track utilization, assist with quality reporting, and support continuous program improvement
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Prior experience in a behavioral health, medical, or neuromodulation setting preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and Microsoft Office
- Ability to be trained in the operation of TMS equipment
- CPR certification required (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with TMS therapy or neuromodulation technologies
- Knowledge of depression, anxiety, and other mood disorders
