Position Summary

The Clinical Applications Platform Admin & Integration Manager is responsible for the configuration, governance, integration, performance, and scalability of Symphony’s enterprise clinical and operational application ecosystem, including eClinicalWorks (ECW), ASC EHRs, post-acute EHRs, patient-facing platforms, and supporting administrative systems.

This role owns the technical foundation of the platform, ensuring systems are standardized, integrated, compliant, and optimized to support enterprise scale. The Manager serves as the central authority for system configuration, data integrity, interoperability, and reporting within all applications.

Core Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Applications Strategy, Governance & Governance
  • Own and maintain enterprise configuration standards across all clinical and operational systems.
  • Support governance for system architecture, integrations, and data flows across platforms.
  • Standardize templates, configurations, and workflows at the system level to ensure scalability.
  • Define change control, release management, and platform lifecycle standards.
  • Partner with leadership to align platform capabilities with enterprise growth and operational needs.

Compliance, Regulatory & Security Governance

  • Ensure platform configurations and integrations align with:

- ONC Cures Act (interoperability and information access)

- HIPAA Privacy & Security Rule application

- PCI DSS requirements (where applicable)

  • Manage role-based access controls, audit logging, and PHI safeguards across systems.
  • Evaluate third-party applications and integrations for compliance risk and BAA alignment.
  • Support internal and external audits through system documentation and controls.
  • Ensure secure data transmission and storage across all platforms.

New Site Enablement & Implementation

  • Support onboarding for new practices and ASCs joining the MSO.
  • Contribute and support Symphony Onboarding (pre-go live, go-live, post-go live).
  • Standardize templates, order sets, billing configurations, and security roles.
  • Ensure new site configurations align with enterprise compliance and governance standards.
  • Coordinate data migration, interface setup, and vendor onboarding.
  • Participate as a point-of-contact during go-live support and stabilization.

Workflow Optimization & Cost Reduction

  • Evaluate clinical, billing, and operational workflows for areas to reduce licensing, subscription fees, or redundancy.
  • Identify automation opportunities (rule engine, claim edits, task routing, reporting).
  • Partner with RCM and clinical leadership to eliminate revenue leakage.
  • Creatively measure any efficiency gains, via automation or other technologies, with compliance and auditability requirements.

Integration & Vendor Ecosystem Management

  • Evaluate and manage third-party integrations (e.g., clearinghouses, patient engagement, assessments, AI tools, faxing, payment solutions).
  • Ensure integrations align with enterprise architecture, interoperability standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Assess new applications for overlap, redundancy, measurable value creation, and compliance risk.
  • Manage interface performance, data integrity, and secure data transmission standards.
  • Partner with Security and IT to ensure encryption, access controls, and monitoring are maintained across integrations.

Enterprise Reporting & Data Strategy

  • Maintain and update enterprise reporting structure across TINs and entities.
  • Partner with multiple cross functional teams to ensure billing entity visibility and KPI/metric consistency.
  • Support the development & design of dashboards for operations, physician leadership, and executive review.
  • Ensure reporting supports Joint Operating Committees (JOCs), MIPS, payer strategy, and compliance monitoring.
  • Maintain data governance standards for enterprise reporting accuracy and auditability.

Training & Knowledge Enablement

  • Create scalable training content and SOPs for billing, clinical, and operational teams.
  • Develop onboarding modules for new hires and offshore teams.
  • Standardize best-practice workflows into an enterprise “playbook.”
  • Educate stakeholders on compliance-sensitive workflows (information blocking, PHI access, documentation standards).
  • Drive adoption through metrics and structured feedback loops.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience with AdvancedMD, eClinicalWorks, NextGen (enterprise preferred)
  • Experience in multi-site healthcare operations or MSO environment
  • Strong understanding of:

- Practice Management workflows

- RCM lifecycle

- Clearinghouse integrations

- Interface management (HL7, FHIR, APIs)

  • Experience managing implementations or platform migrations with project management tooling (Clickup, Planner, Smartsheet)
  • Ability to translate clinical, billing, technical, and compliance requirements into scalable enterprise solutions
  • Strong stakeholder (clinical, executive, and operational) management skills

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in ASC + Clinic hybrid environments
  • Multi-TIN enterprise configuration experience
  • Exposure to offshore operational teams
  • Familiarity with ECW 3rd party application architecture and implementations
  • Experience working within HITRUST, ISO/IEC, ISMS, or PCI DSS aligned environments
