Description: HTI is seeking a Quality Engineer for a manufacturing partner focused on maintaining high-quality standards and driving continuous improvement across production operations. This role will lead ISO 9001:2015 audit activities, support root cause investigations, and work cross-functionally with production and quality teams to strengthen the organization’s quality systems and processes. This position is Direct Hire with a salary range of $80,000 – $90,000 depending on experience.

What You Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with supplier quality management
• Experience with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001) and quality assurance principles
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and process capability analysis
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as 5S
• Experience using problem-solving tools including:
  • 8D
  • 5 Why
  • Fishbone diagrams
  • Process mapping
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Quality Engineer will support and maintain the company’s Quality Management System while driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process.

• Leading the ISO 9001:2015 audit process and partnering with process owners to ensure the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS)
• Conducting internal and supplier audits, documenting findings, and implementing corrective and preventative actions
• Leading teams through root cause analysis and corrective action processes
• Investigating product non-conformances, customer complaints, and quality issues
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams across production, quality, and process engineering
• Supporting the development and implementation of quality control plans and SPC tools
• Analyzing quality data, metrics, and trends to identify improvement opportunities
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects and improve overall product quality
