SPS Fire Protection is seeking a full-time shop/warehouse employee for our growing Blue Springs, MO location. We provide premier fire protection products and fabrication to the greater KC area, as well as surrounding states from this location.
This candidate will be required to lift 70lbs on occasion as well as operate various machinery used to fabricate pipe and related products. A strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to be trained to operate our equipment, is necessary for this position. Any welding experience would be a plus as there is also currently an opportunity for a backup welder.
Full Time position Monday through Friday, 7AM – 3:30PM.
This is a union shop, which is currently in the second year of a 3-year agreement. The top scale is $28.75 currently. Starting salary is $22.00 per hour, with increases yearly at contract raise which is April 1.
SPS offers 7 paid holidays per year.
