Job Description
This role leads the financial close and reporting process for U.S. operations, ensuring accurate performance insights and regulatory compliance. It involves consolidating results across U.S. entities, interpreting financial trends, and producing meaningful analysis for leadership decision-making. The position also manages core accounting functions, supports revenue and collections oversight, and partners with auditors and tax teams to meet statutory and governance requirements. Acting as a key bridge between operational data and executive reporting, this role contributes to forecasts, streamline reporting processes, and delivers ad hoc financial support to drive business priorities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Oversee financial reporting and analysis for U.S. entities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual results.
- Support consolidation activities, with expertise in foreign currency translation, intercompany reconciliations, and eliminations.
- Prepare and/or review account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Internal management reporting, such as regional weekly reports and sales & COGS
- Manage billing processes and accounts receivable collections
- Ensure adherence to SOX controls and serve as the primary liaison for internal and external audits
- Support group forecast preparation
- Coordinate and fulfill requests for external tax documentation
- Perform ad hoc requests, as needed
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or equivalent
- Must have public company experience
- Minimum seven years of progressive accounting experience in accounting, auditing, or other relevant experience
- Experience with consolidations, accounting, and reporting in a multi-legal entity public company organization.
- Analytical, with strong orientation to detail and high degree of accuracy.
- Prior experience with SAP and advanced Excel skills required.
- CPA License preferred
