At our school, our purpose is to develop and train the whole person spiritually, intellectually, physically, and socially with unprecedented excellence in a Christ-centered culture to take all the Gospel to all the world and every generation.

This is more than teaching history. It’s helping students see God’s hand in every generation and their role in what comes next.

What You’ll Do

  • Teach secondary history courses using engaging, discussion-driven instructional strategies

  • Integrate biblical principles into instruction, helping students’ connect faith and history
  • Develop lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and the mission of the school
  • Encourage critical thinking, analysis, and respectful dialogue around historical events
  • Maintain a structured classroom that supports focus, respect, and engagement
  • Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and evaluations
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs
  • Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support a unified, Christ-centered school culture

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in History, Education, or related field
  • Texas State Teacher Certification (required)
  • ACSI Certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong content knowledge in history and social studies
  • Ability to engage students through discussion, storytelling, and critical thinking
  • Strong classroom management and relationship-building skills
  • A passion for investing in students academically and spiritually
  • Flexibility and creativity in teaching methods

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • You get to live out your calling daily, not just do a job
  • A Christ-centered environment where faith is integrated into everything we do
  • A team that believes deeply in our mission: We Build People
  • Meaningful relationships with students, families, and fellow educators
  • The opportunity to make a lasting, eternal impact
