Nurse Supervisor at Recovery Solutions of South Carolina, LLC – COLUMBIA, South Carolina

Position Description:

Are you ready to take the next step in your nursing career? As a Nursing Supervisor, you’ll coordinate and oversee professional nursing care across the site during your assigned shift. You’ll ensure high standards of patient care, regulatory compliance, and safety—while also mentoring staff, fostering teamwork, and building a culture of trust and accountability. This is a role for a confident leader who can balance clinical expertise with people leadership to drive positive outcomes.

What You’ll Do
As a key clinical leader, you will provide supervisory oversight to nursing and support staff during your shift. You’ll monitor clinical operations to ensure quality care and adherence to policies, while also assessing staffing needs and adjusting as necessary to maintain safe ratios. You’ll guide the team in patient care decision-making, step in to support during changes in condition, and assist with level-of-care evaluations and insurance pre-authorizations. You’ll also coach, train, and counsel staff to strengthen performance, all while promoting a culture of patient safety, continuous improvement, and engagement.

What We’re Looking For

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (required); bachelor’s degree in nursing (preferred)

Experience:

At least two (2) years of current nursing experience (required)

Psychiatric nursing and progressive leadership experience (preferred)

Licenses/Certifications: Unrestricted nursing license in state of employment or compact license (required)
