We are currently seeking a full-time Imaging Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

Staff members provide care appropriate to the condition and age of patients, including geriatric, pediatric, and general population. Staff is responsible for the care and safety of patients and always maintaining patient confidentially. Staff is responsible for communicating the mission and vision of the hospital as well as developing effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and path members.

Job-specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Coordination/Supervision of Hospital Imaging Service locations by:
  • Performing all elements of supervision of staff, including but not limited to hiring and developing qualified staff
  • Scheduling, or overseeing the scheduling of staff, in assigned location(s)
  • Assist in developing and implementing imaging policies and procedures for the respective modalities of coverage
  • Creating and supporting a professional environment where both individual achievements and teamwork is recognized
  • Establishing employee performance expectations consistent with providing quality care and customer experiences
  • Resolving employee-initiated or interpersonal concerns
  • Negotiating satisfactory resolutions on complaints/grievances as appropriate
  • Maintains up-to-date protocol & procedure manual specific to their modality. Communicates changes & disseminates information to their fellow technologists
  • Work collaboratively with and seek guidance from Imaging Director to ensure best practices, quality, consistency, staffing and financial soundness
  • Communicate and support organizational structure and philosophy
  • Ensures quality of care by actively supporting quality analysis and improvement efforts in area of responsibility
  • All other imaging responsibilities as necessary

Education/Licensure/Certifications/Qualifications:

• ARRT registered
• Maine RT licensure
• Preferred previous experience as supervisor or lead
• BLS certification
