Job Description
Build the AI workforce that finance can actually trust.
We are closing the gap between what AI promises and what regulated institutions can responsibly deploy. If you fall in love with hard problems — not easy answers — this is where your work matters.
About the Role: We're looking for a Forward Deployed Product Manager to join our team as one of our earliest hires. You’ll work directly with customers—primarily in the finance sector—to deeply understand their workflows, uncover impactful AI use cases, and translate those into product requirements for our engineering team. You won’t be expected to code, but you’ll need a solid grasp of technical systems and data flows. You’ll partner with full-stack engineers to build secure, scalable integrations with financial systems and deliver solutions that create real business value. This is a hybrid, high-ownership role based in New York, with regular in-office collaboration. What You’ll Do: ● Own customer success: Serve as the primary product interface to our customers, translating their needs into structured product workstreams. ● Drive discovery and delivery: Work across customer engagements to gather requirements, define MVPs, and guide solution implementation. ● Bridge business and engineering: Translate customer workflows into technical integration needs and product specs for engineers. ● Deploy for impact: Participate in onsite/hands-on deployments to ensure successful onboarding and usage of our product. ● Deliver quickly: Collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced startup environment to prioritize and launch product features quickly and iteratively. Expectations: ● Finance-savvy: You understand financial systems and data flows or have worked in a finance-adjacent role (e.g., fintech, investment banking, or management consulting).● Customer-obsessed: You’re comfortable interfacing with clients, unblocking deployments, and delivering value.● Technically fluent: While you won't be coding, but we expect you to build prototypes (using AI coding tools)● Structured thinker: You can distill ambiguity into clear problem statements and action plans.● Builder mindset: You thrive in zero-to-one environments and are comfortable wearing multiple hats. Experience: ● 3–6 years of experience in Product, strategy, consulting, or similar roles in Financial services ● Strong exposure to technical concepts, ideally working closely with full-stack or infrastructure engineers● Background in finance, fintech, or management consulting (McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or investment banking are strong pluses)
$150,000 - $190,000 *depending upon experience
About Us: Obin AI is an enterprise artificial intelligence company building the next generation of agentic intelligence for financial services. The company develops a production-ready AI workforce that runs defined workflows end-to-end inside a firm’s controls and audit boundaries, encoding institution-specific logic and producing traceable, inspectable outputs. Because of its open, no-lock-in architecture and ability to resolve even nuanced edge cases, Obin AI is trusted by leading global financial institutions representing over $1 trillion in assets under management. Obin AI enables these organizations to standardize and accelerate their core workflows — continuous monitoring, scalable underwriting, and earlier risk detection — without scaling teams or compromising governance. Founded by seasoned leaders from Google AI, JPMorgan and Silver Lake, Obin AI is reimagining how financial firms operate — deploying AI workers directly within live workflows to expand decision capacity under institutional controls.
Obin AI is an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status.
