• Job Summary

Performs routine, special, and automated tests in Chemistry and Immunochemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Coagulation, Microbiology and Serology, and/or Blood Bank. Report test results to authorized persons. Maintain inventory levels in respective work areas. Perform daily Q, C, and records accordingly. Perform test results to authorized persons. Demonstrates proper collection of blood specimens. Labels all specimens appropriately. Attends in-services and meetings as required. Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops, conferences, and professional affiliation. Work schedule includes 12hr rotating day/night shifts, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.

• Job Specifications

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Medical Technology or related field.

SPECIFIC SKILLS OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS: ASCP, NCA, AMT, MT (AMT), MLS(ASCPi)CM or MT (HEW) certification required. Willingness and ability to work rotating am/pm shifts, weekends, and/or holidays as needed.
