| Job Summary | The Behavioral Health Counselor will provide direct clinical counseling to help children and families deal with various personal, social, and mental health issues, such as depression, unemployment, domestic abuse, and illness, through individual and group counseling. This individual will work closely with the providers in the General Pediatrics clinic to provide patients and families with a comprehensive mental health evaluation and treatment plan. Job duties also include assisting with the diagnosis of mental health disabilities and providing support to patients through counseling. This position’s primary location will be in the General Pediatrics Clinic, with up to one day per week spent providing services on the Mobile Unit. |
