Extended Care Staff Member in Springfield, Virginia at Immanuel Christian School

The main responsibility of extended care workers will be to provide a strategic and safe program for our Extended Care (EC) students that aligns with ICS's mission. This involves creating a learning atmosphere through study halls, clubs, and playground activities.

General Responsibilities

· Supervise students at all times and coordinate transition times.

· Provide safe activities for students after school.

· Comply with School and Security protocols to ensure the safety of each student.

Morning Care: Hours are 6:45-8:00 am. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday

Morning Care: Hours are 6:45-9:00 am. Thursday

After School Care: Hours are 3:00-6:00 pm Monday-Friday

Qualifications

Extended Care Staff Members will be Christians who can clearly testify to having accepted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. As a Christian, this person should be able to effectively model an obedient Christian walk before students, faculty, staff, and the community that we serve. Staff members should desire to work with children and be committed to providing a safe, enjoyable, and productive environment.
