Registered Nurse - Pool Plus PRN 12 Week Assignment in Memphis, Tennessee at The Regional Medical Center of Memphis

Regional One Health Extended Care Hospital is currently seeking an RN to work a Pool Plus PRN 12-Week Assignment 36 hours a week.

JOB SUMMARY AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Provides professional nursing care to patients within an acute care hospital setting utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care. This is a W-2 12 week Contract position with an excellent hourly rate. This is a unit specific assignment with no benefits.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION: Graduate of an approved nursing school/program. Qualified by education, training or experience to work with the school age, adolescent, adult and/or geriatric adult population as specialty assignment dictates.

EXPERIENCE: Two (two) or more years of ICU or LTAC experience as an RN is required for this position.

LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION: Registered Nurse licensure to work in the state of TN. Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Prolonged standing and walking; lifting, turning patients and equipment; repeated bending, squatting and stooping; exposure to infectious agents. Visual acuity is needed to assess color changes, to verify accuracy of written materials, and to administer and accurately prepare medications. Heavy Work - Exerting up to 150 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 75 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 30 pounds of force constantly to move objects. (May be further defined as "with or without assistance.")
