Description:

Sterile Services Co. (SSC) is hiring a Data Analyst Level II to support the Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC) – Force Projection Directorate (FPD) in Frederick, MD. This position provides advanced analytical, reporting, and information management support for mission-critical medical logistics readiness programs. The Data Analyst Level II will collect, analyze, validate, and report operational data to support informed decision-making across Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS), Unit Deployment Packages (UDP), Medical Materiel Readiness Program (MMRP), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and Medical Logistics Support Team (MLST) operations. This role plays an important part in transforming complex logistics and readiness data into actionable insights that improve operational effectiveness, supply chain performance, and overall mission readiness.

Requirements:

Data Collection and Analysis

  • Collect, validate, analyze, and interpret data from multiple sources to support AMLC FPD operational, logistics, and readiness requirements.
  • Identify customer reporting requirements and determine technical, operational, and data-related issues affecting mission execution.
  • Analyze trends, performance indicators, inventory metrics, readiness data, and supply chain information to support leadership decision-making.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data used for reporting and analysis.

Reporting and Business Intelligence

  • Lead the development, design, and maintenance of recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, scorecards, and analytical products.
  • Transform complex datasets into meaningful visualizations, metrics, and executive-level briefing materials.
  • Develop statistical reports, trend analyses, workload assessments, readiness reports, and operational performance metrics.
  • Support leadership with data-driven recommendations that improve resource allocation, mission planning, and operational execution.

Information Systems Support

  • Analyze and troubleshoot information system requirements associated with logistics, supply, inventory, and readiness management programs.
  • Support data integration efforts between Government systems and organizational reporting tools.
  • Identify new data sources, reporting methodologies, and analytical techniques that improve data collection and reporting capabilities.
  • Assist with system testing, validation, and implementation activities related to data management solutions.

Process Improvement and Mission Support

  • Evaluate existing business processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency, reporting accuracy, and operational visibility.
  • Assist in developing standard operating procedures (SOPs), data management guidance, user manuals, and training materials.
  • Support mission analysis efforts related to medical logistics readiness, force projection activities, and sustainment operations.
  • Collaborate with logistics analysts, procurement specialists, program managers, and Government personnel to address complex operational challenges.

Strategic Decision Support

  • Prepare executive summaries, briefings, information papers, and management reports for AMLC leadership.
  • Support the development of performance measures and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) aligned with mission objectives.
  • Conduct research and analysis to support strategic planning initiatives, operational assessments, and readiness reviews.
  • Provide actionable insights that enhance medical materiel visibility, asset accountability, and supply chain responsiveness.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of four (4) years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, information management, logistics analysis, or related analytical disciplines.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and analytical products using Microsoft Office applications and data visualization tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to collect, organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of data analytics principles, reporting methodologies, and performance measurement techniques.
  • Ability to identify trends, anomalies, and operational risks through quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and other reporting platforms.
  • Ability to communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of database concepts, data management practices, and data governance principles.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and reporting requirements in a dynamic operational environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Army Medical Logistics Command (AMLC), Department of Defense (DoD), Defense Health Agency (DHA), or military logistics organizations.
  • Familiarity with Army medical logistics systems, supply chain management processes, and readiness reporting requirements.
  • Experience supporting Army Prepositioned Stocks (APS), Unit Deployment Packages (UDP), Medical Materiel Readiness Program (MMRP), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), or Medical Logistics Support Team (MLST) operations.
  • Experience developing Power BI dashboards, automated reporting solutions, and executive analytics products.
  • Knowledge of Army and DoD data management policies and business intelligence practices.

Security Requirement

The individual selected for this position must possess or be able to obtain and maintain all required Government installation access credentials and security requirements necessary for contract performance. This may include a National Agency Check with Law and Credit (NACLC) / Tier 3 (T3) background investigation, as required by the Government.
