Sr. Marketplace Brand Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Marketplace Brand Manager based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to own and accelerate marketplace growth across Amazon and Walmart.
You’ll combine hands-on marketplace operations with data-driven strategy to improve revenue, margins, conversion, and account health.
The position spans catalog management, content optimization, advertising, performance analysis, testing, and new product launches.
You’ll work closely with creative, brand, data, and external agency partners to turn insights into measurable action.
Your work will directly influence how products reach and convert millions of consumers across major digital marketplaces.
The environment is fast-moving and detail-oriented, making it well suited to an experienced operator who enjoys solving problems at the source.

Accountabilities:
  • Own day-to-day marketplace execution across Amazon and Walmart, supporting revenue and margin objectives.
  • Analyze performance data from Seller Central, advertising platforms, internal dashboards, and other marketplace sources to identify trends, opportunities, and areas requiring action.
  • Manage and optimize a catalog of approximately 60 ASINs, including product detail pages, A+ Content, Brand Stores, and new product launches.
  • Maintain accurate marketplace content and drive conversion improvements through ongoing optimization and A/B testing.
  • Partner with Brand and Creative teams to develop briefs for listing imagery, copy, video assets, and advertising creative.
  • Own the marketplace marketing calendar and coordinate campaign, promotional, and testing activities.
  • Collaborate with external agency partners to optimize Sponsored Ads, DSP, and other marketplace advertising initiatives.
  • Work with advertising teams and data partners to execute, analyze, and improve marketplace media strategies.
  • Manage Seller Central backend operations and account health, resolving catalog, policy, customer experience, and operational issues as they arise.
  • Monitor category dynamics, competitor activity, marketplace policies, and new platform features to identify risks and growth opportunities.
  • Translate complex marketplace data into clear recommendations and actionable plans for cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support broader marketplace strategy by connecting operational insights with commercial and brand priorities.
Requirements:
  • 3–5+ years of experience managing brands on Amazon and Walmart or working with third-party marketplace brands within an agency environment.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Seller Central, including listing creation and updates, reporting, case management, account health, customer experience, and marketplace insights.
  • Strong understanding of the Amazon advertising ecosystem, including Sponsored Ads, DSP, OLV/STV, AMC, and related reporting tools; hands-on-keyboard advertising experience is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze large marketplace datasets, identify meaningful trends, and translate findings into practical commercial recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail and an ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience with Walmart Marketplace is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Google Sheets, and Google Slides.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Stackline, Helium10, FeedbackFive, Looker, and Notion is advantageous.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, agencies, and external partners.
  • Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities, deadlines, marketplace issues, and performance initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive, ownership-oriented mindset and willingness to work directly within marketplace platforms to identify and resolve issues.
