Looking for a role that fills your cup? Good news, T2 Tea is looking for a Wholesale Account Associate to join its passionate team.

About the role

Reporting to the National Business Development Manager, the Wholesale Account Associate is responsible for supporting the growth and day-to-day management of T2’s wholesale customer base.

This role combines customer engagement, account support, and sales coordination, contributing to both operational effectiveness and broader wholesale growth objectives.

You will support the management of wholesale customer accounts through onboarding, order processing, account maintenance, and ongoing customer support. Key will be ensuring accurate and timely handling of customer orders and enquiries, maintaining system integrity, and delivering a high standard of customer service vis phone and email.

You will work closely with internal teams including Distribution and Finance to support fulfilment, resolve issues, and maintain account accuracy.

Key responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Support

  • Act as the first point of contact for wholesale customer enquiries via phone and email.
  • Provide timely, solutions-focused responses that meet or exceed customer expectations
  • Support onboarding and account setup, ensuring accuracy and a smooth introduction to T2 systems and processes
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through consistent follow-up and engagement
  • Represent the T2 brand through professional and customer-focused communication across all touchpoints

Sales Contribution & Account Growth

  • Support team revenue targets through conversion of inbound leads and proactive outbound customer engagement
  • Conduct outbound calls to leads, re-engage inactive customers, & identify new opportunities
  • Identify opportunities to grow account value through product recommendations and tailored customer support
  • Support pipeline activity through lead tracking, follow-up, and opportunity coordination
  • Assist in maintaining and developing a portfolio of smaller or developing accounts

Order & Account Management

  • Process and manage customer orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and clear communication
  • Monitor and resolve order exceptions including stock, delivery, pricing, and system-related issues
  • Liaise with Distribution Centres & Finance teams to support fulfilment & invoicing/account queries
  • Maintain accurate customer records, account details, and activity tracking across systems
  • Support pricing, quoting, and general account maintenance
  • Ensure adherence to internal processes and agreed service level expectations
  • Assist with maintaining customer account integrity across systems and ordering platforms

About you

  • 1–2 years’ experience in a customer-facing, retail, sales support, or commercial role
  • Strong communication skills, particularly across phone and email interactions
  • Confidence engaging with customers and building professional relationships
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Proactive and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to team outcomes
