This is a fully remote sales opportunity focused on re-engaging former clients who have moved to competing solutions.
You will uncover the reasons behind client departures, understand evolving business needs, and identify opportunities to rebuild trust.
The role combines consultative selling, relationship management, outbound prospecting, negotiation, and strategic account development.
You will act as a trusted point of contact, addressing objections while clearly demonstrating the value of a comprehensive HR and payroll technology platform.
Working cross-functionally with sales, service, implementation, and other internal teams, you will create tailored solutions designed to win clients back.
Success will be measured through sales performance, revenue generation, activity levels, and your ability to convert former clients into active customers.

- Proactively engage former clients through outbound calls, email campaigns, personalized messages, and other outreach strategies to understand their current priorities, challenges, and reasons for switching providers.
- Build and rebuild strong relationships with former clients through active listening, empathy, consistent communication, and a genuine focus on their business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for former clients, responding to inquiries and concerns while maintaining a high standard of client service.
- Understand client needs and business goals and translate them into tailored software solutions, recommendations, and commercial opportunities.
- Identify and address objections or reservations with tact, diplomacy, and persuasive communication, providing relevant solutions to overcome barriers to re-engagement.
- Clearly communicate the platform’s value proposition, differentiating features, benefits, and competitive advantages according to each prospect’s specific requirements.
- Develop customized solutions and offers in collaboration with sales, service, implementation, and other internal teams.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from initial outreach and discovery through negotiation, closing, and successful reactivation.
- Establish systematic follow-up processes to maintain engagement with former clients and remain top-of-mind throughout their decision-making process.
- Collaborate with internal business units to identify opportunities for strategic partnerships, client retention, and successful re-engagement.
- Consistently achieve assigned monthly sales, revenue, activity, and quota targets.
- Establish priorities, manage the sales pipeline independently, and maintain disciplined execution across multiple opportunities.
- 3+ years of sales experience, with an emphasis on outbound prospecting, account management, or consultative B2B sales.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently pursue and exceed sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Strong persuasion and negotiation skills, with the ability to confidently address objections and influence purchasing decisions.
- Excellent active listening skills and the ability to uncover client needs, business objectives, concerns, and buying motivations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex software solutions and articulate their business value.
- Strong client-service orientation and the ability to establish credibility and trust with both new and existing relationships.
- Self-driven, ambitious, and resilient, with the motivation to proactively pursue opportunities and drive deals through to completion.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple client conversations and sales activities.
- Proficiency with internet-based tools and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform is preferred.
- Ability to work remotely within the United States and remain available five days per week during designated business hours.
- Fully remote work within the United States, with no regular in-office requirement.
- Base salary range of $46,000–$80,700 per year, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
