This role leads the procurement operations function for non-retail goods and services across a multi-site organization. You will manage sourcing, purchasing, vendor relationships, and procurement systems while ensuring spending remains accurate, compliant, and aligned with business needs. The position combines strategic sourcing and negotiation with hands-on ownership of purchasing workflows and financial controls. You will partner closely with Accounting, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Cultivation, Facilities, Marketing, and IT to improve how goods and services are purchased. With responsibility for key procurement and finance platforms, you will help strengthen visibility, efficiency, and accountability across the procure-to-pay process. - Manage sourcing and purchasing for non-retail goods and services, negotiating pricing, payment terms, and supply agreements to optimize cost, quality, and commercial value.
- Build and maintain preferred supplier relationships, monitor vendor performance, and proactively resolve purchasing, delivery, or invoicing issues.
- Partner with teams across the organization to manage procurement requests, sourcing initiatives, contract renewals, and purchasing priorities.
- Identify potential supply risks and develop practical mitigation strategies to maintain continuity across business operations.
- Serve as the business owner and primary administrator for Order.co, Sage Intacct, and Concur, managing catalogs, workflows, user access, spend limits, and permissions.
- Create, code, and process purchase orders in Sage Intacct while coordinating receiving activities and invoice reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate vendor master records, coordinate supplier onboarding, and ensure purchasing activity follows approval limits and financial controls.
- Prepare spend analysis and procurement reporting, monitoring purchasing activity and tracking corporate spend by category and department.
- Partner with Accounting and IT to develop procurement policies, improve procure-to-pay workflows, strengthen compliance, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Support purchasing across manufacturing raw materials, packaging and production supplies, cultivation supplies and plant nutrients, office supplies and equipment, facilities and maintenance needs, marketing materials, and professional services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Bring 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or a closely related function.
- Have experience supporting multi-site operations and packaging environments, preferably within the cannabis industry.
- Demonstrate hands-on experience with Order.co or a similar procurement platform and Sage Intacct or a comparable ERP system.
- Possess a strong understanding of procurement processes, purchasing systems, financial controls, and vendor management.
- Bring strong negotiation, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Remote annual salary range of $90,000–$110,000 USD, with actual compensation determined by geographic location, experience, and qualifications.
