This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a GTM Commission Manager based in the United States.
This is a strategic Revenue Operations role responsible for designing, transforming, and managing commission programs across go-to-market teams.
You will own the full commission lifecycle, from incentive strategy and plan design through calculation, validation, and payout.
The role will play a key part in consolidating complex commission structures and establishing scalable, transparent, and consistent processes.
You will partner closely with Finance, HR, Compensation, Payroll, and GTM Operations to ensure programs align with broader business and compensation strategies.
The position combines analytical rigor with systems expertise, including commission platforms, CRM data, and reporting infrastructure.
You will use performance data and business insights to evaluate plan effectiveness and recommend improvements as sales strategies evolve.

- Own the end-to-end GTM commission strategy, ensuring incentive structures are aligned with business objectives, sales motions, and revenue goals.
- Lead the consolidation and transformation of existing commission plans to improve consistency, transparency, scalability, and effectiveness across go-to-market teams.
- Partner with HR and Compensation to align commission programs with the broader compensation philosophy and relevant best practices.
- Develop and maintain a standardized commission framework covering plan governance, documentation, exception management, and change control.
- Design scalable processes and operating practices that support the long-term sustainability and accuracy of commission programs.
- Lead the implementation, rollout, and ongoing administration of a commission management platform such as CaptiveIQ or an equivalent solution.
- Ensure reliable integration between source systems, including Salesforce and data warehouses, and commission tooling.
- Own monthly and quarterly commission calculations, validations, reconciliations, and payout processing with a strong focus on accuracy and auditability.
- Collaborate with Finance, Payroll, HR, and GTM Operations to ensure commission payments are accurate, timely, compliant, and aligned with approved plans.
- Provide ongoing visibility into sales attainment, commission payouts, trends, and overall plan performance.
- Analyze commission and sales performance data to identify opportunities for optimization and recommend adjustments based on evolving business needs.
- Drive cross-functional alignment and change management when introducing new commission structures, processes, or systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field required; an MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.
- At least 5 years of experience in Sales Compensation, Revenue Operations, or a related go-to-market function, preferably within a SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of ARR/MRR-based compensation models and data-driven incentive strategies.
- Proven experience consolidating, transforming, or administering complex commission programs across multiple sales teams or business units.
- Deep understanding of compensation mechanics, including quota-based incentives, activity-based plans, accelerators, bonuses, and other variable compensation structures.
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with HR, Compensation, Finance, Payroll, and sales or revenue operations teams.
- Hands-on experience with commission management platforms such as CaptiveIQ, Spiff, Xactly, or comparable technologies.
- Strong Salesforce or comparable CRM experience, particularly when working with compensation-related data and integrations.
- Advanced analytical and Excel skills, with exceptional attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy.
- Ability to establish scalable processes, documentation, governance structures, and controls.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage recurring deadlines alongside transformation initiatives.
- Collaborative and solution-oriented mindset, with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive change, and build cross-functional alignment.
- Experience in field services or related service industries is a plus.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel periodically for quarterly events, partner meetings, and other business needs, including potential travel to offices in North America.
- Target base compensation of $130,000–$145,000 USD per year in most U.S. locations, with final compensation based on location, market conditions, experience, and expertise.
