Job Description

CRM Senior Developer/Administrator

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a CRM Senior Developer/Administrator based in the United States.

This is a hands-on technical ownership role responsible for the administration, development, and continuous improvement of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Power Platform environment.
You will serve as the internal subject-matter expert for CRM operations, supporting business users while designing practical solutions that improve workflows and productivity.
The role spans platform administration, custom development, integrations, data management, security, troubleshooting, and production support.
You will work closely with business stakeholders and collaborate with Product, Engineering, architecture teams, and external implementation partners.
A key focus will be translating ambiguous business needs into reliable technical solutions while maintaining platform quality, security, and performance.
The position offers significant autonomy and ownership in a fully remote environment where technical expertise and customer service are equally valued.
Success will come from combining strong Dynamics expertise with clear communication, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the day-to-day administration, maintenance, support, and continuous improvement of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, Dataverse, and associated Power Platform environments.
  • Manage users, teams, business units, security roles, permissions, service accounts, upgrades, and other platform administration activities.
  • Serve as the internal escalation point for complex CRM, Power Automate, integration, security, data, and production issues.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues, identify root causes, coordinate recovery efforts, and clearly communicate status, risks, and recommended next steps.
  • Configure and develop Dynamics 365 and Dataverse components, including tables, fields, relationships, forms, views, dashboards, business rules, business process flows, model-driven applications, and Power Automate workflows.
  • Develop and maintain CRM customizations using JavaScript, C# plugins, Dataverse Web API, REST APIs, and other supported development patterns.
  • Support integrations and bidirectional data flows between Dynamics 365 and other business applications, including data imports, migrations, synchronization, monitoring, and data-quality remediation.
  • Manage solutions and deployments across development, testing, and production environments, including source control, testing, UAT, releases, rollback procedures, monitoring, and production validation.
  • Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand challenges, clarify requirements, and determine whether configuration, automation, or custom development is the most appropriate solution.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, business systems architecture, and external implementation partners on larger enhancements and integrations while maintaining accountability for CRM outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation covering configurations, automations, integrations, customizations, deployment processes, and support procedures.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to improve CRM usability, automation, reliability, performance, and business workflows.
  • Manage multiple support requests, development initiatives, and competing priorities while maintaining a high level of service and technical quality.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required while consistently contributing to a professional, customer-focused, and values-driven environment.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Dynamics CRM, including meaningful experience in administration, development, and production ownership.
  • Strong expertise with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Microsoft Dataverse, including configuration, security, solutions, and Power Automate.
  • Demonstrated development experience with JavaScript in Dynamics 365, C# plugins or other Dataverse server-side development, and REST APIs or Dataverse Web API.
  • Strong understanding of system integrations, data synchronization, solution deployment, and application lifecycle management across multiple environments.
  • Proven production troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to evaluate information from multiple sources and turn ambiguous issues into clearly defined solutions.
  • Ability to gather and clarify technical requirements directly with business stakeholders and translate business needs into effective CRM solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Customer-service mindset with a demonstrated commitment to providing responsive, high-quality internal support.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple support and development initiatives, and take ownership of platform outcomes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, relevant technical training, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Preferred experience with Azure Data Factory or other Azure integration technologies, SQL and relational database concepts, or Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, source control, CI/CD, and Power Platform application lifecycle management tools is preferred.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Power Platform certifications are a plus.
  • Must reside in one of the following states: AL, AK, AR, AZ, CT, DE, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MI, MT, MS, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, WI, WV, or WY.
  • Must have reliable high-speed internet and the ability to connect the work computer directly to a router or modem through a hardwired Ethernet connection.
  • Comfortable working remotely Monday through Friday, generally 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time, with an hour-long lunch break.
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work environment within the eligible U.S. states.
  • Monday–Friday schedule designed to support work-life balance.
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits for employees and their families.
  • Company-funded HSA options.
  • Pre-tax and post-tax 401(k) options with company matching of up to 5%.
  • Life insurance and accident insurance.
  • Pet insurance and additional employee benefits.
  • Generous vacation policy.
  • Life Balance Reimbursement Plan supporting personal and family well-being.
  • Volunteer and community involvement opportunities.
  • Professional growth and development opportunities.
  • Opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a critical CRM and business technology environment.
  • Collaborative, customer-focused culture emphasizing trust, high performance, empathy, and continuous improvement.
