Safe Air Technology is seeking an organized, motivated, and hands-on Safety & Training Coordinator to support our Safety Manager. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent computer skills, and isn't afraid to spend time on the production floor identifying opportunities to improve workplace safety.

This is not a desk-only position. You'll split your time between the office and the manufacturing shop, helping develop safety programs while also serving as another set of eyes and ears throughout the facility.

What You'll Do

Assist in developing and formatting safety policies, procedures, and training materialsCreate engaging PowerPoint presentations, handouts, quizzes, and employee training documentsHelp organize and maintain safety records and documentationConduct routine safety inspections throughout the facilityIdentify unsafe conditions or behaviors and communicate findings to the Safety ManagerAssist with incident investigations and corrective action follow-upHelp coordinate employee safety orientations and ongoing trainingTrack training completion and maintain compliance recordsPrepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documentsHelp maintain SDS books and safety bulletin boardsHelp track safety supplies and PPE inventoryParticipate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiativesSupport miscellaneous projects as assigned

Is highly organized and detail-orientedIs confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPointCan create professional-looking documents and presentationsEnjoys writing and communicating information clearlyIs comfortable walking through a manufacturing environment throughout the dayHas good observation skills and notices details others may overlookCan communicate professionally with employees at all levelsWorks well independently while also being a strong team playerThrives in a fast-paced, rapidly growing companyTakes initiative without needing constant directionIs dependable, positive, and eager to learn

Preferred Qualifications

Previous safety, training, HR, manufacturing, or administrative experienceExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferredOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)Experience creating training materials or conducting presentations is preferredStrong computer proficiency and document formatting skills

Physical Requirements

Frequently walk throughout manufacturing and warehouse environmentsStand and walk for extended periodsOccasionally lift up to 25 poundsAbility to work in varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing facilityAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
