Shift Hours: 3 PM - 11:30 pm Monday - Friday with some overtime on Saturdays. All new hires must train on first shift for up to 6 weeks. First shift schedule is 7 am - 3:30 pm
What you’ll be doing?
- Able to receive and retain advanced CNC operation, setup, and program adjustments training to assist the mills and lathe team in producing consistent parts to spec and on schedule.
- Create tooling offsets and adjustments to the manufacturer to consistently meet close tolerances.
- Set tools, calibrate, and operate CNC machines and lathes for various operations including turning, drilling, boring, threading, tapping, and milling.
- Interpret blueprints/engineering drawings.
- Ability to recognize and correct malfunctions.
- Work in a team atmosphere to assist/instruct coworkers with machining techniques.
What you’ll need to win!
- 2+ years’ experience preferred but not required. Will train the right candidate.
- Ability/flexibility to deal with varying changeover rates.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Observant about changes in part characteristics
- Observant about changes in machine sounds and operations.
- Analytical, adaptable, dependable, and personable
