As a Marathi Translator, you will contribute to projects that help improve the quality and capabilities of AI systems through high-quality linguistic data.
You will work across tasks such as translation, transcription, annotation, evaluation, localization, validation, and content creation.
Your linguistic expertise will help ensure that AI models accurately understand and generate Marathi language content.
The role combines language proficiency, careful analysis, and attention to detail in a fully remote working environment.
You will collaborate through an online platform that supports project activities around the clock.

The position is offered on a freelance basis under a commercial contract.

• Perform linguistic tasks including categorization, annotation, correction, transcription, evaluation, localization, validation, and content creation.
• Review and validate audio, video, image, sentence, word, and other language data according to project-specific guidelines.
• Produce accurate Marathi translations, transcriptions, and written content with excellent spelling, grammar, and linguistic consistency.
• Participate in conversational interactions and voice-recording activities when required by specific projects.
• Apply knowledge of linguistic theory, grammar, syntax, and language structure to ensure high-quality outputs.
• Carefully identify and correct linguistic errors, inconsistencies, ambiguities, and formatting issues.
• Follow project instructions, quality standards, and deadlines while maintaining accuracy and consistency across assigned tasks.
• Complete mandatory qualification or project-specific assessments required before participating in assignments.
• Use online platforms and digital tools effectively to complete remote linguistic and AI-data projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and work from a secure environment when handling project materials or sensitive data.

• Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interpretation or a related field, with academic credentials available for verification.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Marathi, with excellent command of the language in written and spoken contexts.
• Fluent English with the ability to accurately listen, understand, and write English content.
• Strong command of Marathi grammar, linguistic theory, language structure, spelling, and written communication.
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, and communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and consistently deliver accurate work.
• Good computer literacy and confidence using online platforms and digital tools.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, adaptability, and willingness to learn new processes and technologies.
• Previous experience in computational linguistics, corpus analysis, language-data annotation, localization, or LLM training is an advantage but not mandatory.
