Job Description
The incumbent must safely perform all functions associated with the General Description and Duties as indicated below. The incumbent will be required to have knowledge of Operating Specifications, Safety Procedures/Work Instructions, QSI System, Personal Protective Equipment, Emergency Response Manual, and Company Policies and Procedures.
- Must perform all duties and responsibilities with a "Safety First" attitude at all times.
- Use proper PPE as applicable to job-specific duties.
- For safety and business purposes, must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to effectively communicate with employees, contractors, visitors, emergency responders, and members of the public. This position requires frequent interaction with the public and serves as a representative of G-3; therefore, the incumbent must demonstrate excellent customer service and public relations skills, maintain a professional demeanor, and respond to questions, concerns, and requests in a courteous, respectful, and timely manner.
- Ability to follow written and verbal operating procedures.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Good attendance.
- Flexible work schedule, including overtime as required.
- Adaptable to varying temperatures ranging from extreme heat and humidity to cold weather, as well as exposure to all weather conditions.
Summary of Job Responsibilities
This position is second in command to the Police Lieutenant and should be capable of fulfilling those responsibilities during his or her absence. This position assumes the responsibilities of the Police Lieutenant on weekends and night shift.
Assist in daily activities to ensure compliance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and other regulatory and corporate requirements deemed necessary to improve safety, environmental, and quality performance.
Primary responsibilities consist of, but are not limited to:
- Coordinate facility access and security, including traffic and personnel control.
- Direct traffic and inspect incoming vehicles.
- Lock and unlock all gates, parking lots, locker rooms, and Administration Building.
- Monitor access gates during shift changes.
- Monitor clock alley and parking lots for employees and contractors.
- Issue employee, contractor, and visitor badges through the DSX system.
- Make trips to the Post Office and distribute mail to the Administration Building.
- Make bank trips for the Accounting Department.
- Provide pickup and delivery transportation for visitors as necessary.
- Respond to requests to unlock master locks throughout the plant.
- Arrange transportation for overtime personnel when required.
- Provide duplicate keys for plant locks and offices when requested or required.
- Distribute hourly paychecks.
- Service company vehicles as required (fuel, tires, oil changes, washing, etc.).
- Know, follow, and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive relationships with employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public by providing professional customer service, assistance, information, and direction while representing G-3 in a positive and professional manner.

- Accurately complete forms and reports as required.
- Perform routine visual inspections of the facility as required.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring a positive experience for employees, contractors, visitors, and members of the public while supporting site security and operations.
