The Opportunity

We are seeking an expert Wound / Ostomy RN to champion specialized patient care across our facility. In this role, you will enjoy a high degree of professional autonomy, utilizing evidence-based practices to guide patients through life-changing medical transitions. You will act as a trusted clinical consultant, an empathetic educator, and a critical bridge between patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design Specialized Care Plans: Develop and lead highly customized, evidence-based clinical protocols for patients navigating stomas, complex wounds, and pressure ulcers.
• Empower Through Education: Conduct comprehensive preoperative and postoperative instructional sessions, providing patients and families with the confidence, coaching, and tools they need for successful self-care.
• Consult & Collaborate: Partner directly with physicians and fellow nursing staff, serving as the resident expert on enterostomal and wound treatments, procedures, and product selection.
• Deliver Lifespan-Specific Care: Apply specialized knowledge of human growth and development to deliver optimal, age-appropriate treatments tailored to our diverse patient populations.
• Practice Autonomously: Function independently while remaining a fierce advocate for the patient's rights, emotional well-being, and overall safety.
