ROLE SUMMARY:

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations including inventory management, load building, product verification, receiving, and supervising warehouse personnel. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, safety compliance, and team development while supporting the overall success of the sales and delivery operations.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is passionate about driving operational excellence.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hire, train, and develop warehouse employees
  • Organize and oversee schedules and daily workflow of assigned staff
  • Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and corrective action as needed
  • Handle employee discipline and termination in accordance with company policies
  • Lead and motivate a team of warehouse technicians, loaders/validators, receivers, and other warehouse personnel

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage daily warehouse operations including inventory, receiving, loading, and product verification
  • Work proactively with sales representatives and delivery teams to understand customer and operational needs
  • Coach, lead, and develop warehouse team members to improve productivity and performance
  • Conduct team meetings and safety trainings to ensure company safety standards are maintained
  • Perform regular performance appraisals and provide ongoing feedback to employees
  • Conduct daily inventory counts and validate against computer-generated reports
  • Ensure completion and accuracy of load building, returns, and product handling
  • Utilize performance metrics to track and improve warehouse operations
  • Oversee stock rotation procedures and ensure compliance with code date policies
  • Monitor repack operations to ensure proper accounting of products and maintenance of quality standards
  • Process and verify breakage, mis-picks, and trades as necessary
  • Review and respond daily to company communications and technology platforms including email, Trello, Slack, and other systems
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership and team development abilities
  • Self-motivated, organized, and results-oriented
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software applications
  • Ability to attend all required meetings and trainings
  • Complete all assigned ABU training requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of general management experience and/or 4 years of warehouse experience preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
