Principal Partnerships Manager, Product

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced partnerships professional passionate about shaping the future of mission-critical technology and strategic ecosystem growth. In this role, you will drive product-focused partnerships that expand market reach, strengthen competitive positioning, and accelerate innovation across government and commercial sectors. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will help align external collaborations with long-term product strategy, marketplace adoption, and business growth initiatives. The position requires a strong balance of strategic thinking, relationship management, and operational execution in a fast-moving, high-trust environment. You will engage directly with senior industry and government stakeholders while helping scale initiatives that support cutting-edge software, AI-enabled solutions, and emerging technologies in aerospace and defense-related markets.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and manage strategic product partnerships that enhance product value, support market expansion, and drive measurable business impact.
  • Align partnership initiatives with product roadmaps, customer needs, marketplace strategy, and long-term organizational goals.
  • Lead marketplace and ecosystem strategies to improve partner engagement, adoption, and differentiation across government and commercial environments.
  • Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities, emerging markets, and ecosystem trends to support growth and innovation.
  • Develop scalable processes for evaluating, negotiating, launching, and managing strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Management, Strategy, Innovation, and GTM teams to successfully launch and scale partnership initiatives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to ensure marketplace readiness, operational alignment, and successful implementation of partnerships.
  • Serve as a key external representative with government agencies, technology providers, integrators, and strategic industry partners.
  • Monitor partnership performance, business impact, and pipeline health while providing leadership updates and recommendations.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to support partnership development, customer engagement, and industry events.
Requirements:
  • 8–12+ years of experience in strategic partnerships, business development, alliances, marketplace strategy, or related leadership roles.
  • Proven success building, negotiating, and scaling partnerships that deliver measurable strategic or commercial outcomes.
  • Experience working within government, aerospace, defense, intelligence, or other mission-driven industries.
  • Strong ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across public and private sector ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to align product, sales, innovation, and strategy teams around partnership priorities.
  • Previous experience in Lead, Staff, or equivalent senior-level strategic partnership roles.
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance required.
  • Strong understanding of product strategy, GTM collaboration, partner ecosystems, APIs, AI-enabled products, or mission-critical software platforms.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • Familiarity with government acquisition processes, defense innovation initiatives, or regulated markets is a plus.
