What You’ll Do:
You’ll be responsible for programming, operating, and monitoring machines according to work order specifications. This is a hands-on role requiring attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive mindset.
1. Program and operate the CAB machine.
2. Sort cores based on program number, and run the CAB machine based on the respective program.
3. Use a chain hoist to load assembled cores into the CAB machine.
4. Check machine periodically to make sure fans are consistently staying at an appropriate temperature.
5. Mix the flux needed for the brazing process.
6. Responsible for filling out daily checklist.
7. Meet the production quotas that were received from the Lead or Supervisor.
8. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
9. Report any issues to the Supervisor, or appropriate personnel, as soon as detected.
10. Adhere to all policies, procedures, and/or requirements set forth in AKG’s environmental management system (EMS).
Regular physical attendance is a requirement for this position. Refer to AKG attendance policy in the Information Handbook for Employees.
Fill in for other Loaders and Unloaders who are on vacation, based on trained/skilled level.
Perform preventative maintenance on the machine as needed.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Must be able to stand (60%) and walk (40%) of the time. May also be required to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist and turn.
2. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (70%) of the time.
3. Must be able to use a chain hoist.
Must use safety equipment such as steel toe shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection and gloves. All of these are provided by AKG, except for the steel toe shoes.
