Job Description
Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) – Ryan White Part D
Hope & Help of Central Florida | Winter Park, FL | Full-Time | Travel up to 40%
Hope & Help of Central Florida is a mission-driven nonprofit providing HIV healthcare, prevention, case management, and supportive services. Our Ryan White Part D program supports women, infants, children, and youth living with HIV through coordinated, family-centered services across Central Florida.
The Opportunity
Bring your clinical judgment and collaborative approach to a family-centered program supporting pregnant women, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. We are seeking a Florida autonomously registered APRN who is comfortable working with these populations, identifying clinical needs, supporting appropriate care, and coordinating closely with specialists and our medical team. The role emphasizes maternal, pediatric, and adolescent health, continuity of care, and helping patients and families navigate healthcare services.
What You’ll Do
•Assess health concerns and provide clinically appropriate evaluation, education, follow-up, and care management within your credentials and authorized scope.
•Support the needs of pregnant women and mothers, children, adolescents, and young adults through family-centered, age-appropriate care and coordination.
•Identify clinical needs requiring maternal health, pediatric, adolescent, HIV, or other specialty services; arrange referrals and follow through on care transitions.
•Collaborate with the organization’s medical team, case managers, community providers, and specialty clinics to address barriers and maintain continuity of care.
•Help patients and families understand care plans, recommended follow-up, medication considerations, and available resources.
•Maintain timely clinical documentation and contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, and Ryan White program reporting as appropriate.
What You Bring
•Active, unrestricted Florida APRN license and active Florida Autonomous Practice Registration.
•Graduate education, appropriate national board certification, and prescriptive authority consistent with Florida requirements.
•Clinical experience and demonstrated comfort caring for women, including pregnant patients, and/or children, adolescents, and young adults within your certification and scope.
•Sound clinical judgment, compassionate communication, and experience coordinating complex care with specialists and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience We Especially Value
•Experience in maternal health, women’s health, pediatrics, adolescent health, or family-centered care.
•Experience serving patients with complex medical and psychosocial needs or limited access to care.
•Experience with HIV-related care or Ryan White-funded programs; these are preferred, not required.
•Comfort working collaboratively with specialty providers when care falls outside your own practice scope.
Location & Travel
Based in Winter Park, with travel up to 40% across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, Lake, and St. Lucie counties. Occasional evening or weekend work may be needed for program activities.
Why Join Hope & Help?
