This role is a senior-level individual contributor position responsible for shaping and executing channel marketing strategy across the Canadian market. You will act as the key marketing lead for Canada, translating regional and global priorities into localized, high-impact initiatives that drive growth across retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels. The position requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, with ownership of integrated campaigns, partner marketing programs, and go-to-market initiatives. You will work closely with sales, regional marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and maximize marketing effectiveness. A key aspect of the role is optimizing investment performance through data-driven decision-making and strong ROI focus. This is a high-autonomy role where your insights, leadership, and execution directly shape market success.
- Serve as the primary marketing lead for Canada, partnering closely with sales, operations, and regional/global marketing teams to drive local market success.
- Develop and execute Canada-specific channel marketing strategies aligned with broader regional and global objectives.
- Lead end-to-end execution of integrated marketing programs across retail, e-commerce, digital, campaigns, and events.
- Localize and adapt global marketing initiatives to ensure relevance and impact within the Canadian market.
- Manage marketing development funds (MDF) to maximize ROI and support defined business and IMP goals.
- Define KPIs and performance metrics for channel marketing initiatives and continuously track effectiveness.
- Analyze market and campaign performance data to generate insights and optimize marketing strategies.
- Provide strategic recommendations, market updates, and best practices to senior leadership.
- 6–8+ years of experience in channel marketing, ideally within the technology or consumer electronics industry.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian market, including retail, e-tail, and distribution ecosystems.
- Proven experience managing or supporting product launches and integrated go-to-market campaigns.
- Ability to design and execute multi-channel marketing programs with measurable business impact.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with experience using data to drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience working within global or matrixed marketing organizations.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S. as needed.
