Job Description
GENERAL SUMMARY
The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing customer relationships, generating quotations, processing orders, and supporting the external sales team. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service while driving revenue growth within the hydraulic technologies sector.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Act as the primary point of contact for international customers via phone and email
• Prepare and follow up on quotations for hydraulic components, systems, and services
• Pro-actively contacts customers to identify sales opportunities
• Process sales orders accurately and ensure timely delivery
• Provide technical and commercial support to customers
• Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts
• Maintain and update customer data in CRM systems
• Collaborate with Technical Support, Logistics and Procurement
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints and after-sales support

• Knowledge of hydraulic products is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Secondary vocational education (in Dutch MBO)
• 3-5 years of experience with inside sales, preferably in a hydraulics B2B environment
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, any other language is a plus (German, French, Spanish)
• Proficiency in ERP/CRM systems (SAP) and Microsoft Office
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The working conditions described here are representative of those an employee may encounter while performing the principal duties and responsibilities of the job. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area which, under certain conditions, requires the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses with side shields and mandatory hearing protection. The temperature of the primary work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining. Industrial lighting provided.
