Job Description
Coastal Pain and Neurology Centers is seeking a Full Time, Board Certified Neurologist to join our multi-specialty group. Coastal Neurology specializes in Neurology, Pain Management, Diagnostic testing and Physical therapy. The Neurologist will use their expert knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and the central nervous system to help our patients receive the best health care possible at our organization. The ideal candidate for this position has a great work ethic, is very personable, great patient care, superb organization and time management skills.
Neurologist responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord and nervous system.
- Diagnosing complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them and conducting neurological tests
- Counseling patients on neurological disorders and their background.
- Ordering neurological tests and interpreting the results of neuroimaging studies.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication related to neurological disorders.
- Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
- Order supportive care services for patients.
- Liaise with medical professionals in the community and other hospitals

Skills and Qualifications:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or eligibility in neurology, pain management, or related specialty.
- Valid medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
- Proven experience in managing spine, pain, and neurological conditions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare setting.
