Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate reductions on medical liens with healthcare providers and third-party payers
• Review case files to identify and verify all outstanding liens and expenses
• Prepare accurate and clear client disbursement statements
• Compile and reconcile medical bills, legal costs, and settlement figures
• Create detailed disbursement spreadsheets outlining fees, costs, and net client recovery
• Coordinate and process payments to medical providers and lienholders
• Communicate effectively with providers, clients, and internal team members to resolve discrepancies

Qualifications

• Prior experience in lien negotiations preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and case management systems (QuickBooks a plus)
• Strong negotiation skills and confidence in reducing balances
• Tech-savvy with experience in paperless environments
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
