Job Description
POSITION: Concierge
SUPERVISOR: Business Office Manager
EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Non-exempt Status
SUMMARY:
Under the Executive Director’s supervision, assists with various community needs and community relations. Directs a timely approach to resident and visitor needs, and functions as a team player in an effort to ensure quality and continuity of care to all residents. MUST BE PROFICIENT WITH MICROSOFT OFFICE PROGRAMS ESPECIALLY WORD AND EXCEL.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Regular, punctual attendance with a cheerful, respectful, and courteous attitude towards and all team members, residents, family members, and guests.
2. Perform work functions with a team member approach; working for the best interest of the team as a whole which can mean working in every role as needed.
3. Assume portions of other roles when those roles are not filled to ensure smooth operations.
4. Provides excellent customer service to all, with utmost respect and manners.
5. Evaluate and meet the needs and care of residents when they approach the desk needing assistance.
6. Provide a pleasant experience for all who visit Greeley Village.
7. Monitor processes such as sign in, sign out to ensure safe practices are being met consistently.
8. Maintain all logs, records, and processes mandated by state regulations. Always be ready and prepared for state surveys.
9. Interact with families, POA’s, residents, staff, providers, and pharmacy reps with respect and
a calm, friendly demeanor.
10. Assist with a teamwork approach to ensure everyone is doing their assigned duties, attending all staff meetings, providing safe and compassionate care to residents, interacting with all staff members/directors with respect and courtesy, etc.
11. Maintain infection control.
12. Keep up to date with state covid guidelines as well as covid practices.
13. Provide updates to Executive Director for any pertinent information from your shift.
14. Notify supervisor as applicable for any adverse incident.
15. Maintain resident Bill of Rights, and confidentiality.
16. Assist community directors with various clerical and administrative tasks as requested.
17. Be familiar with all policies and procedures and follow them.
18. Maintain all equipment for safety and proper function.
19. Respond accurately to emergency situations.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
a. Education Requirements: Must be able to read, write, and effectively communicate.
b. Experience Requirements: 1 + years experience, working with all types of elderly residents preferred.
c. Demonstrate ability to safely follow regulations.
i. Must not be convicted of a felony and have favorable references and character check upon hire.
UNIVERSAL PRECAUTIONS:
Exposure to blood/body fluids is possible.
