The Senior Manager, Business Technology Partner (ITBP) will serve as the primary technology liaison for business operations, ensuring operational platforms remain reliable, scalable, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires a balance of strategic thinking, technical understanding, and hands-on problem solving to support growth initiatives and continuous improvement.
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders by understanding operational priorities, growth strategies, challenges, and technology opportunities.
- Own the performance, support, and continuous evolution of operational technology platforms, integrations, and related business systems.
- Collaborate with internal technology teams and external vendors to troubleshoot issues, manage enhancements, and prioritize platform improvements.
- Drive standardization of business processes, system configurations, reporting capabilities, and operational workflows across multiple business units.
- Develop scalable playbooks, processes, and standards for onboarding newly acquired businesses into technology platforms and support models.
- Support the creation and maturity of a shared services technology operating model that balances centralized capabilities with business-specific requirements.
- Act as a bridge between IT teams and operational stakeholders to ensure technology investments deliver measurable business value.
- Support technology due diligence, onboarding activities, and integration planning related to acquisitions and business expansion.
- Evaluate future platform strategies, identify improvement opportunities, and provide recommendations to leadership.
- Remain hands-on when needed to resolve complex issues, remove operational blockers, and deliver practical technology solutions.
- Improve system reliability, operational efficiency, and user experience across supported platforms.
- Establish trusted relationships with stakeholders while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate is a business-focused technology leader with experience managing enterprise applications, operational systems, and cross-functional technology initiatives. This individual should be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where execution, relationship-building, and scalable solutions are equally important.
- 7+ years of experience in business systems, enterprise applications, operational technology, or related technology leadership roles.
- Experience supporting distributed, operationally complex organizations such as field services, home services, healthcare operations, retail, franchise, or similar environments.
- Proven ability to act as a business technology partner by translating operational challenges into effective technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of integrations, APIs, data flows, enterprise platforms, and operational technology ecosystems.
- Experience managing technology roadmaps, system improvements, vendor relationships, and business process optimization.
- Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders, coordinate cross-functional teams, and lead initiatives without direct authority.
- Experience working in growth environments involving acquisitions, system standardization, or multi-brand operations preferred.
- Comfortable balancing strategic planning with hands-on execution and problem solving.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on business outcomes.
- Functional familiarity with home services ERP platforms or similar operational systems preferred.
- Competitive salary range of $125,000–$150,000 annually.
