The Senior Manager, Strategic Accounts will lead revenue growth across a portfolio of strategic enterprise insurance accounts and high-value prospects.
This senior sales role combines new business development, strategic account expansion, customer retention, and consultative solution selling.
You will advise commercial Property and Casualty (P&C) insurance organizations on how data, analytics, Software as a Service (SaaS), and Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) solutions can address critical business challenges.
Success will depend on your ability to build trusted executive relationships, uncover strategic opportunities, and communicate measurable business value.
You will manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial prospecting through negotiation and contract execution.
Working closely with Product, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Data Analytics, and Client Success teams, you will bring customer insights into broader commercial and product strategies.

- Develop and execute strategic territory and account plans designed to increase market penetration and revenue across commercial P&C insurance organizations.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new enterprise opportunities within targeted strategic accounts and prospects.
- Lead consultative discovery conversations to understand customer objectives, business challenges, operational priorities, and opportunities for value creation.
- Position and demonstrate relevant data, analytics, SaaS, and DaaS solutions through compelling presentations, workshops, webinars, and executive-level business discussions.
- Own and grow a portfolio of large enterprise customers by identifying expansion opportunities, increasing solution adoption, and strengthening strategic relationships.
- Develop long-term account strategies aligned with customer priorities and continuously identify opportunities to broaden engagement.
- Conduct executive business reviews and strategic planning sessions that demonstrate return on investment (ROI), customer value, solution adoption, and overall account health.
- Drive customer retention and renewal success through proactive relationship management and ongoing executive engagement.
- Manage complex opportunities across the full sales lifecycle, from prospecting and discovery through business case development, negotiation, and contract execution.
- Develop ROI-driven business cases and value propositions that clearly connect proposed solutions to customer objectives and measurable outcomes.
- Structure, negotiate, and close licensing, subscription, and enterprise agreements while balancing customer needs and commercial objectives.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting, pipeline visibility, account planning, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) discipline.
- Partner closely with Product Management, Marketing, Sales Engineering, Data Analytics, and Client Success teams to coordinate customer strategies and maximize opportunities.
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback that can inform product innovation, solution development, and go-to-market strategies.
- Champion customer needs internally and help shape differentiated solutions that strengthen competitive positioning.
- Consistently pursue revenue and growth targets while expanding strategic relationships, increasing customer adoption, and maintaining strong retention and renewal performance.
- Bring at least 7 years of successful Business-to-Business (B2B) sales experience, including at least 5 years selling SaaS, DaaS, analytics, data, technology, or information services solutions to enterprise organizations.
- Demonstrate a strong track record of managing large and complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders, sophisticated buying processes, and extended sales cycles.
- Have proven experience developing executive-level relationships and converting those relationships into strategic account growth.
- Demonstrate experience using ROI-based, value-selling, consultative-selling, solution-selling, or similar methodologies to communicate business value and influence purchasing decisions.
- Possess excellent presentation, written and verbal communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Be comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment while managing multiple strategic priorities.
- Experience selling to commercial P&C insurance carriers, reinsurers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), brokers, or related insurance organizations is strongly preferred.
- Bring knowledge of commercial underwriting, risk management, claims, actuarial analysis, fleet and transportation, construction, specialty lines, or inland marine insurance markets is a plus.
- Experience selling data analytics, predictive modeling, business intelligence, or risk intelligence solutions is preferred.
- Familiarity with Salesforce CRM and modern sales engagement technologies is advantageous.
- Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Economics, or a related field, or have equivalent professional experience.
- Annual base salary of $90,000–$100,000, with additional compensation potentially including bonuses and equity.
